Dentures
Missing teeth can impact your confidence, speech, and diet. Dentures provide a comfortable, natural-looking solution to restore your smile.

What are Dentures?
There are two types of dentures: full and partial. Your dentist will recommend the best option for your needs.
Complete Dentures vs. Partial Dentures
Complete dentures consist of a flesh-colored acrylic base that fits over your gums, with the upper part covering the roof of your mouth and the lower part fitting over your bottom gums, leaving space for your tongue.
Dentures are custom-made from impressions of your mouth taken by your dentist. For full dentures, remaining teeth are removed, and healing time is needed before fitting. Partial dentures are supported by a metal framework attached to natural teeth and can be removed, often including crowns on the natural teeth.
Taking Care of Your Tooth Replacement Device
To ensure the longevity of your partial or complete dentures, proper care and regular maintenance are essential. Visit your dentist at least once a year for adjustments, as dentures may require relining, remaking, or rebasing to maintain a proper fit. As your mouth changes over time, these adjustments help prevent discomfort and looseness.
Care tips:
Avoid dropping dentures to prevent damage.
Soak dentures when not in use to avoid warping.
Brush daily, like natural teeth.
Never attempt self-adjustments or repairs.
With time, dentures will become more comfortable, and your smile will remain youthful and attractive.
